This policy explains what personal information Studio Marbella collects on studiomarbella.co.za, why we collect it, and your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

When you place an order: your name, contact details, delivery address and order history, handled through our commerce provider, Shopify. Payment details go to the payment provider directly — we never see or store them.

When you enquire or apply: the details you give us in the corporate, trade or contact forms.

When you sign up to our newsletter: your email address and your marketing consent.

With your consent: analytics and advertising cookies that help us understand how the site is used. Essential cookies — the ones that keep the site and your cart working — are always on.

Why we collect it

To fulfil and deliver your orders, to answer your enquiries, to send marketing you’ve asked for, and — with consent — to measure how the site and our advertising perform.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run this site: Shopify for checkout and payments, couriers for delivery, our email provider for notifications, and — with your consent — Google and Meta for analytics and advertising measurement. We don’t sell personal information.

Cookies

On your first visit we ask whether to allow analytics and advertising cookies. Choose “Essential only” and none of them load. Your choice is kept for six months; clear this site’s cookies to choose again.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, and withdraw marketing consent at any time. Write to enquiries@studiomarbella.co.za and we’ll respond.

If you’re not satisfied with how we handle your information, you can lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
